Sarah Stafford, Ph.D., specializes in environmental and regulatory economics. She has more than 30 years of experience consulting on and researching the impact of state and federal environmental regulations on firm and industry behavior, with a particular emphasis on the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Program. Stafford is the Chancellor Professor of Economics, Public Policy, and Law at William & Mary, and currently chairs the Economics Department. When she has free time, she enjoys sculling, both recreationally and competitively.
