We provide the following services:
Integrated Watershed Management
We facilitate partnerships with local watershed experts, federal and state agencies, water utility partners, and nongovernmental organizations to improve water systems and promote their economic, environmental, and social benefits to communities. We also collaborate on water management issues such as river restoration, stormwater management, and water equity and resilience.
Wastewater
MDB supports public-private partnerships to improve decentralized wastewater treatment and management. Our efforts address best management practices for homeowners on decentralized systems, or septic systems.
Nutrient Pollution
We translate scientific watershed data and share information on water quality and nutrient management for outreach campaigns to encourage pollution reduction, recreational use of waters, and safeguards to drinking water.
