William McLean, M.L.S., supports programs for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. He specializes in library information systems, literature searches, bibliometric review, portfolio analysis, relational databases, data visualization, web support, and application development. Through his 12 years of experience in libraries and consulting for state and federal government, he has cultivated a passion for identifying, evaluating, and interpreting resources, promoting access to information, providing reference support, and developing and maintaining database solutions to promote positive change in the community. In his free time, he enjoys repairing antiques, portrait drawing, kayaking, and hiking.
