Timothy Fields, Jr., M.S., leads MDB’s community outreach and facilitation activities. He has more than 40 years of experience addressing issues related to complex environmental site assessment, cleanup, waste management, redevelopment, and community revitalization. Before coming to MDB, Tim spent 30 years at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In his last four years at the agency, he served as Assistant Administrator for the Office of Land and Emergency Management. Tim is an adept facilitator and serves as an expert witness on cleanup and waste management matters. He provides community-driven mission support to federal agencies such as EPA, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Energy, as well as to private sector organizations such as Solvay, Waste Management, Pfizer, and Dominion Energy. He is dedicated to helping improve the lives of community members impacted by environmental hazards. His hobbies include running and playing basketball.
